Skip Leggerday's Farewell Message

The final Rumbleverse video from the developers is a farewell message from the man, the mythic, the legendary Skip Leggerday himself. ABS is throwing one final chicken buffet, and Skip like them spicy!

Skip Leggerday: Is this thing on? Ah yeah, I think it is. *throat clearing*.

(Somberly) Hey there Rumble Fans. We interrupt this regularly scheduled Rumbling for a special announcement.

(More natural) This is Skip Leggerday. On behalf of myself and the entire ABS family, I'm here to thank the countless Rumblers whose triumphs and tribulations have made this city what it is. While Grapital City and Low Key Key are now off limits, the memory of everyone's aerodynamic elbow drops will not soon be forgotten.

Now if you'll excuse me, ABS is throwing me a farewell party at Squaaats downtown! All you can eat Spicy Boneless Poppers! See you there! And uh, how about one more body slam for old time's sake? UUUURAHHHH!

(SFX: Crowd cheering) Ooh! That kinda hurts. Heh heh. Swelling up already. Uh that's gonna leave a bruise. HEH.

A Farewell to Grapital City from Sonnec_RV

Grapital City has been a second home since the day it came online. Never has a virtual city and its inhabitants gripped me with sheer charm the way that @Rumbleverse has. I can truly feel the passion that went into this world on every level, and it will be greatly missed.

Every single person who brought @Rumbleverse to life at @IronGalaxy and beyond should be immensely proud of their accomplishments. This was an incredible experience that brightened the lives of so many people. For that, you have my utmost admiration and respect.

It's been an honour to fight alongside the community, whether we teamed up together or battled to become Rumble Champions. Thanks for sharing this experience with me. Regardless of what happens next, we'll always have these memories to bind us together at this time in our lives.

Loss is all part of the Rumble... but admittedly I didn't expect to lose the ability to Rumble itself so soon. The next few days are going to be pretty tough. Not being able to click that Rumbleverse icon to launch into guaranteed fun leaves a part of me feeling missing....

Nothing hits like this game. #Rumbleverse had just found the perfect combination of skill, style and silly so that the excitement never seems to fade. The sun has now set, but I sincerely hope a new dawn will return to Grapital City again soon.
